Wesley Grant Johnson, 28, of Thorntown, passed away Oct. 24, 2020.
Wes was born Feb. 28, 1992 in Indianapolis, a son of Tabatha (Dan) Garing of Thorntown and Robert Johnson of Lebanon. He was a 2010 graduate of Western Boone High School and graduated in 2015 from MTI with HVAC certification.
Wes was HVAC certified and was currently working for Gander Mountain in the distribution center. He enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, and being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Wes is survived by his son who he loved immensely, Cooper Johnson; a sister, Paige (Brayton Beesley) Johnson of Thorntown, step-brothers, Dylan Garing of Crawfordsville and Jesse Garing of Chicago; maternal grandparents, Rick and Diana Logsdon of Whitestown; paternal grandmother, Linda Johnson of Lebanon; aunt Samantha (Marc) Tielker of Zionsville; uncle Brad (Christina) Johnson of Kentucky; nephew, Carson Hart; and several cousins. Wes was preceded in death by grandfather, Robert Johnson.
Family and friends will gather Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 for a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown. Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
