Zionsville can cover its payroll and keep gas in the police cars and fire trucks, but the town can’t do much else. Zionsville leaders say a software glitch has left them unable to pay their bills. Town Council President Jason Plunkett says their central software OpenGov is not working. He says the town can’t see how much money it has, how much money it owes, or what bills need to be paid. Plunkett says Zionsville has been struggling with problems for months, but he’s not sure when those problems will be solved.
