The Zionsville Town Council recently heard the proposed Parks and Recreation five-year master plan based on the input of a steering committee, three public open houses, two virtual open houses and a community survey. The five-year plan was presented to the council, broken down by year, and included improvements and new projects each year. Jason Plunkett, president of the Zionsville Town Council, called the plan “aggressive and expensive.” A rough draft of the five-year master plan has been sent to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for feedback. The final document must be submitted by April 15, 2023.
