The Boone County Health Department reports 12 deaths due to COVID-19 in a Lebanon long-term care facility. Lisa Younts, the nursing and vital records director at the health department, said 50 patients were tested and confirmed to have COVID-19 at Homewood. The health department estimates there are between 100 and 150 residents at the Lebanon facility. The Indiana State Department of Health’s specialized strike teams have visited the facility at least three times since the first death was reported two weeks ago.
