(Lafayette, IN) — A teenager is in custody after allegedly bringing a handgun to school in Tippecanoe County. A school resource officer was shown a photo of a student holding what looked like a gun on the grounds of McCutcheon High School on Tuesday. The 15-year-old boy was found at his home that afternoon. He’s facing preliminary charges of possession of a firearm on school property and dangerous possession of a firearm.
