After countless hours of training their dogs, 4-Hers in the Boone County 4-H Dog Project displayed their hard work during the dog show over the weekend. On Saturd a y, dog       obedience and showmanship competitors showed their stuff; on Sunday, dog agility and rally participants performed for the judges.
Addie Jones won Master Showman in Dog Obedience. Jones, a sixth-grader at Granville Wells Elementary, was first selected as the top competitor in the junior age group. Competing against Jones in the master class were top winners in the two other showmanship age groups, senior winner Shelby Woodruff and intermediate winner Zane Williams.
