Dontanielle Conielous Tanner, 42, passed away at his home in Colfax, Indiana, on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born in Griffith, Georgia, on December 10, 1979, a son of Shirley A. Tanner and the late James Bell.
On May 17, 2014, he was married to Jennifer M. (Reagan) Tanner in Thorntown, Indiana; she survives.
Conielous had attended a culinary arts school and worked as a cook in food service. His passion was food and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, and Purdue University football and basketball.
Survivors Include his wife, Jennifer M. Tanner of Colfax; children, Jamen L. Tanner and Deserae Ann Marie Tanner of Colfax, Ayraina Tanner, Aaliyah Tanner, and Xavier Tanner of Lafayette, and Kobey Oldham and Uriah Oldham of Colfax; two grandchildren; mother, Shirley Tanner of Georgia; and brother, Tony Walker (Xiomara) of Georgia.
The family will host a celebration of life at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in his memory.
