A 5-year-old girl died from an accidental drowning near Jamestown. Police identified the girl as Arianna Aliff, daughter of Tim and Misty Aliff of New Ross. A 3-year-old foster child survived the drowning and is in critical condition at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. At 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, 911 received a call from 11347 W. County Road 500 S., the Aliff home. An unidentified caller reported that two children had fallen into a pond and were not breathing. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
