Agustina Echeverria, 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Lebanon, Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born on October 6, 1945, in Pharr, Texas, a daughter of the late Andres Contreras Flores and Isabel (Soto) Flores.
On June 5, 1960, she was married to Juan B. Echeverria in San Juan, Texas. They had shared 63 loving years together.
Agustina was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon. She worked as a cook at the Blue & White Truck Stop and for a time at Donaldson’s Finer Chocolates and Zachary Confections in Frankfort.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who found joy in caring for her family. Her warmth and love will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
Survivors include her husband, Juan B. Echeverria; children, Juan (Tammy) Echeverria, Sylvia Echeverria, and San Juanita (Bradley) Allen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Angelita (Roberto) Beltran, Maria (Steve) White, Delia Flores, and Rachel Ehrie; brothers, Andres Flores, Jr., Jose (Karen) Flores, and Jesse Flores; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Agustina was preceded in death by two sons, Carlos Echeverria and Mario Echeverria; and grandson, Juan “Johnny” Echeverria.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon.
