Mrs. Amanda Jolene Hildebrand, 33, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette on Sunday June 12, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. She was born September 19, 1988 in Lafayette, Indiana to Sherri Begley.
Amanda graduated from Tri-County High School in Wolcott, Indiana in 2007. She went on to get her Associate degree in Medical Assistance.
She met Joshua Hildebrand on January 08, 2012 and they married on January 02, 2015.
Amanda worked at Mayflower Mill elementary school as a Nurse’s Aide where she would go above and beyond for her “kids” later she worked from home. Amanda grew up living the simple life and finding joy in simple things. Amanda enjoyed her time in the Tri-County drama club and color guard team. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music and watching movies mainly Harry Potter. She was always up for a good trip to a theme park, thrifting items from second-hand stores and turning them into something beautiful, playing games and spending any time she could with her husband, dog, mother, sister, friends, and other family. Amanda enjoyed celebrating all holidays – and would often go all out when decorating for them. She had the biggest heart and was always willing to help and give what she could to anyone who needed it. Amanda fought her way through more than her fair share of trials and tribulations in her short life and taught those around her what it meant to truly be a fighter. Amanda will be remembered for the fiery passion she brought to life and will forever serve as a reminder that the greatest gifts do indeed come in small packages. Though she be but little she was fierce. She will be missed beyond words.
She is survived by her husband Joshua, mother Sherri, sister Christy, nephew Gatlin, dog Tony, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandma Norma, Grandpa Willie, dog Thor, as well as some aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
