Coltan A. Perryman’s two felony convictions for battery of a child younger than 14, and neglect of a dependent, have been upheld by the Indiana Court of Appeals.
Perryman, 28, was convicted in Boone Superior Court I in March 2016. He is serving 23 years.
Appellant Court Judge Paul D. Mathis on July 7 denied Perryman’s motion to challenge the use of the victim’s videotaped statement, the denial of Perryman’s motion for mistrial, the sufficiency of the evidence, and other rulings. Judges James S. Kirsch and Robert R. Altice Jr., concurred. More details on this story is available in the Lebanon Reporter.
