Arnold “Arnie” Kammerer, 59, of Lebanon, died Friday, Jun. 24, 2022, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Arnie was born Feb. 18, 1963, in Lebanon, a son of the late Cecil J. and Barbara Jean (Miller) Kammerer.

Arnie graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1981. He worked for Lebanon Berg Vault for many years and was proud to be “the last man to let you down.” Arnie enjoyed fishing and bowling. He also loved working outdoors, especially in his garden, along with canning and cooking. More than anything, Arnie loved his family and spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years in November, Twyla Floyd Kammerer; sons, Brandon (Katy Stephenson) Kammerer and Dalton (Kayla) Floyd; daughter, Amanda Ranney; grandchildren, Shae Esterline, Kaleb Floyd, McKinsey Noland, Harper Floyd, Brogan Floyd, Porter Floyd, and Sophie Echeverria; brother, Joe (Lois) Kammerer; sisters, Linda Bell, Jane Kelley, and Alice Bailey; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Arnie was preceded in death by his brother, James Kammerer.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Jun. 29, for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Jun. 30, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
