On January 8th, 2020 at 9:19 AM, the Lebanon Fire Department, Lebanon Police Department and mutual aid agencies responded to a reported structure fire located at 733 West North Street in Lebanon.
Responding Lebanon Police Officers observed there to be forced entry to the residence upon their arrival. The initial arriving fire crew confirmed a working fire and made an aggressive interior attack, bringing the fire under control quickly. The interior fire attack and search crews noted multiple areas of origin during their initial attack of the fire. At that time, fire command requested a fire investigator begin to work the scene and also requested assistance from Lebanon Police Departments Detectives. Detectives responded to the scene and worked along with LFD’s fire investigators to document the scene thoroughly and investigate the cause of the fire.
Fire Investigator’s have ruled this fire as Arson. Detectives and Fire Investigators are requesting anyone that may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time the fire was reported is encouraged to reach out to them. This is an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
