Arthur “Art” Ray Wright, 64, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at his home in Thorntown, Indiana. Born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 13, 1955, Art was adopted by the Moody family who showed great love to him and Art felt blessed to be a “Moody.”
He was a 1973 graduate of Lebanon High School. He married Brenda (Moody) Wright on October 3, 1981 at the Lebanon Rock Church; she survives.
Art was a proud union member of Local 47 in Indianapolis and worked thirty years as a skilled painter before retiring at the age of 55. He was a master of his craft, making it look so easy.
He was past president of the Lebanon Bowling League. Art was devoted and loved his family. He enjoyed fishing with Jim Woodard and his family as well as golfing with Gary Moody.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Funeral Services are planned for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
