Defense attorneys for the man accused of killing two teens in Delphi in 2017 want certain evidence restricted from the trial. A probable cause affidavit alleges an .40 caliber unspent round from Richard Allen’s gun was found at the crime scene where Abby Williams and Libby German were murdered. Now, Allen’s lawyers have filed a pretrial motion asking for certain ballistics evidence to be left out of the case. Allen is back in court Thursday for the judge to consider a number of motions filed by the defense and prosecutors. The judge is also expected to set a trial date.
