Mrs. Betty Bradley, 96, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Aug. 15, 2022.

Betty was born December 11, 1925 in Frankfort, Indiana, the daughter of the now late Roy and Mary Watkins. She married Charles “Charlie” Bradley on July 13, 1946, Charlie passed August 2, 2016.

Betty graduated from Frankfort High School. She worked at Henderson office Supply in Lebanon, Indiana as an accountant; in the early 60’s, Betty and Charlie owned Weather Products in Indianapolis and then in 1976 they founded Bradley’s Home Improvements where she worked side by side with her family for over 40 years.

Betty was a proud, life-long member of the Lebanon Lady Elks Lodge and her hobbies included square dancing with the Happy Hoppers Square Dancing Club, watching the Indianapolis Colts footballs games, Purdue and Pacers basketballs games and her favorite, gambling. Betty loved playing blackjack and slot machines. Her favorite saying was “Never saw a casino I could drive by.”

Survivors include her children, Rita Bradley and John (Lynda Lambert) Bradley of Lebanon; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bradley of Lebanon; grandchildren, Staci Kincaid (Todd) Sorgatz of Michigan, Riley (Chelsea) Bennett, Drew (Alexis Alfonsi) Bradley of South Carolina, Zac (Brenda Keppel) Bradley of South Carolina, Nic Bradley, Ryan (Melissa Nelson) Ottinger all of Lebanon, Kai (Nicole Stivers) Warmoth of Thorntown and Lexington (Andrew Quirk) Warmoth of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Taylor Sorgatz (Bob) Lundquist and Morgan Sorgatz of Michigan and Raylan Bennett of Lebanon; great-granddaughter, Antigone Warmoth; several nieces and one nephew, all living in Crossville, TN, Frankfort, IN and Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dave Bradley; grandson, Daniel Kincaid; brothers, Roy (Joan) Watkins, Donnie ( Mary) Watkins; and sister, Maxine (Roscoe) Emery.

Family and friends will gather Monday, Aug. 22, 2022 for visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary, 2400 N Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Following the visitation on Monday friends are invited for a celebration of Betty’s life at the Lebanon Elks Lodge starting at 8 p.m.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 23 at 10 a.m. in the mortuary with Rev. Patty Jones officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
