Mrs. Beverly Ruth Lutes, 84, passed away on Sunday morning, June 5, 2022, at The Restoracy in Whitestown. She was born in Linton, Indiana, on January 18, 1938, a daughter of the late John Riley and Clythe Cloretta (Liddil) French.

On June 10, 1956, she was united in marriage to Larry Leon Lutes in Linton. After 47 years together, he passed away on June 14, 2003.

Raised in Linton, Beverly was a 1956 graduate of Linton Stockton High School. She had worked as a Nurse’s Aide for Methodist Hospital, Parkwood Healthcare, and Witham Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1978.

Beverly was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Danville, Indiana. She enjoyed cooking and canning for her family, reading, working puzzles, playing boardgames, and was a talented quilter.

Survivors include three children, Gary L. (Connie) Lutes of Spencer, Debra R. Lutes of Lebanon, and John R. (Dianna) Lutes of Brownsburg; four grandchildren, Steven (Abigail) Lutes, David (Sunny) Lutes, Matthew Lutes, and Preston Lutes; three great grandchildren, Karrington Lutes, Raigan Lutes, and Tannor Lutes; sister, Doris L. Barlich of Speedway; and two nieces, Jane Clark and Patty Callahan.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Frank Barlich.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am., Friday, June 10, 2022, with visitation again beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Fayette, Indiana.
