The Boone County Board of Commissioners and the Boone County Council are considering an increase to local income taxes to pay for a proposed $45 to $50 million jail expansion and justice center. The Boone County Commissioners are hosting a town hall meeting on Thursday, October 28 at 7 pm to discuss the proposed project. This will take place at the Farm Bureau Community Building at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds (1300 E 100 S, Lebanon). The design construction team will be present to answer questions and all voices are encouraged to participate.
