The Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) announced that Boone County Council member Elise Nieshalla received the 2018 Outstanding County Council Member Award. Nieshalla began serving on the Boone County Council in 2017 and also serves on a statewide level representing county council members on the AIC board of directors. She represents the council on the board of Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center as well as on the Boone County Economic Development Corporation. She was a founding faculty member of the Hoosier Leadership Series Established in 2006. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
