The Boone County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) held its annual luncheon Wednesday to celebrate successes in 2019 by updating the community. The Golf Club of Indiana Cardinal Room was packed with business and government leaders from all corners of the county. Boone EDC Executive Director Molly Whitehead said the Boone EDC closed seven deals including the addition of Maxxis Tires in Whitestown, the expansion of GCI Slingers in Zionsville and attracting U.S. Corrugated to Lebanon. The result is $113 million in investment and 350 jobs. This also added $5.3 million in taxes to the towns and county. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
