An unusual volume of early voting is being reported nationwide this fall and Boone County is no exception.
“Something’s got them energized,” said Boone County Clerk Jessica Fouts, who’s seen a steady stream of early voters at the polling place in the east wing of the Boone County Courthouse.
“We’re open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. And it’s pretty steady all day,” she said. “There’s a little spike at lunch time and another last rush at the end of the day.” More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
