It’s time to dig the old bottles of pool chemicals and chainsaw oil out of the garage and dispose of them properly and for free. Those and other chemicals, used tires and fluorescent tube lights, to name a few, can be dropped off at no charge during the spring household hazardous waste, electronics and tire collection day April 27 at the Boone County Highway Department.
