Brenda Kay Vandivier passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2023, with her family lovingly by her side.

Brenda was a loving spouse, mother, nana, and friend that was loved by many for her creative and artistic mind and ability to create amazing bonds with everyone that was part of her life. She felt incredible joy through family trips, attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events, interior design, make up and fashion, and spending time with friends.

With her passion to help children, she began her career at Pixie Playhouse, where she worked for over eight years. She then became a teacher’s assistant at Perry Worth Elementary school, where for several years, she found great joy in assisting the teachers and young students to be successful.  Over the next 20 years, Brenda’s defining career achievement was supporting her vast clientele as a men’s barber, where she could express her creative gift.

Born February 14th, 1958 in Lebanon, Indiana to Delbert Allen (deceased) and Juanita (Vic) Vollrath. She was happily married for 42 years to her husband Jon Vandivier. She is also survived by her son Josh (Jennifer) White from Pittsboro, Indiana, daughter Christa (Joe) Giordano from Hood River, Oregon, brother Stanley (Laura) Allen from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, sister Tina (Greg) Westerfield from Nokomis, Florida. and the pride and joy of her life, her six grandchildren, Mollie, Brady and Sophie White and Ava, Ellie, and Rachel Giordano.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, with Brenda’s past of adopting kittens, she has desired all donations be made to the Boone County Humane Society, PO Box 708, Lebanon, IN 46052 (www.HSFORBC.org).
