Brittany Hoape Smith gained her angel wings on May 10, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1990, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Richard and Tiffany (Smith) Martin.
She attended North Putnam High School. Brittany attained her CNA license and enjoyed working in that field. She also loved music and enjoyed dancing and singing. She loved her family above all and was fiercely protective of them. She was very beloved by all who knew her and will be missed more than words can say.
Brittany is survived by her parents, sisters, Brooke Martin, Lilly Smith–Hurst and Lucy Wildman; brothers, William Romer and Noah Wildman; niece, Evelyn Perez–Martin; grandparents, Richard and Teresa Wright, Robert Smith, and Frank Steven Martin; aunts, Michelle Smith (Rhett Wamsley), Angie(Richard) Stoeberl, and Tammy (Bryan) Culley; uncle, Anthony (Benita) Buis; cousins, Shelby (Travis) Ainslie and their sons Ryan, Reece and Miles Ainslie, Jake Smith, Kerri Pierle, Anthony Jr and Xander Buis, Bryan and Makayla Culley, Ashley (Alfredo) Ramirez and their daughters Chloe, Amoriana and Kaliana, and Destiny McCaslin; special friend, Joel Medina; and best friend of many years, Jeffrey Sams.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brendan Hart; grandmother, Brenda Ranney; uncle, Steve Martin; and many other beloved family members.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation following services.
