Caron Leslie Behymer, 69, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at The Waters of Lebanon. She was born September 21, 1952, in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Russell Caron Esarey and Mary Ruth (Beach) Esarey.
Caron was a 1970 graduate of Broad Ripple High School. She had attended dental school and during her early years, she worked as a dental assistant. For a period of time, Caron was employed by Dollar Inn Motels and most recently had worked for the Marsh grocery store as a deli clerk.
She had a passion for the Native American culture. Caron enjoyed attending Pow Wows and collecting all things Native American. She loved making her own jewelry. Above all, Caron loved her family especially her grandchildren.
She leaves behind her daughter, Melissa R. Blattner of Zionsville; three grandchildren, K. “Bub” Blattner, Kyla Blattner, and Kaitlyn Blattner; three brothers, James “Jimmy” Esarey, Kevin Esarey, and Steven Esarey; nephew, Ian Esarey; niece, Amber Esarey; and two great nephews, Damian and Lane Esarey .
No services will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory in Lebanon, Indiana, have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
