Catherine (Cathie) Stivason, 91, passed away peacefully at Homewood Health Center with her family by her side on March 6, 2024.
Cathie was born on February 23, 1933 in Ford City, PA. Cathie married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) in June 1953. After Bob’s service in the Navy, they moved to Arizona and then to California where they raised three children. Following their two daughters, Cathie and Bob made their final home in Lebanon, IN. They were married for 63 years when Bob preceded her in death in 2016.
Cathie will be missed by her three children, Debi Stivason of Lebanon, IN, Tom (Terryanne) Stivason of Lake Havasu, AZ and Terri (Alex) Salinas of Lebanon, IN. Her grandchildren include Shawn (Lori) Salinas, Joel (Nikki) Salinas, Thomas (Cassie) Stivason and Troy (Kayla) Stivason. Great grandchildren include Bella, Ava, Izzy, Jaiden, Norah, Baylen and Wilks.
In addition to her husband Bob, Cathie was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings and great grandson Kace Stivason (2023).
Cathie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon. Faith and Family were the two priorities in Cathie’s life. Other favorite pastimes included fishing in June Lake, gambling in Bullhead City, knitting and playing Bingo.
Arrangements for a Funeral Mass are currently pending.
Final care of Cathie has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
