It was a night to celebrate the best of Boone County at the annual Boone County Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet. The program was held Thursday night at the Witham Pavilion at the Boone County Fair Grounds. Each year members of the community are recognized for their service. The Chamber also takes time to hand out three of their own awards. The Farmers Bank received the Business of the Year award. The Business Professional of the Year award was presented to Dan Mitchell and the Non Profit of the Year award was presented to the Boys and Girls Club.
