Charles Edward “Chuck” Watterson, 68, of Zionsville, Indiana, died peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born, September 18, 1954, in Logansport, Indiana, a son of the late James Arthur and Eddie Lee (Gamble) Watterson.
Chuck was a 1973 graduate of Martinsville High School. He worked in the construction field for most of his career. Chuck loved his family dearly, as well as his beloved cats. He enjoyed sports, sports memorabilia, reading, and current events. He was a loving man who always was ready to help others.
Survivors include his siblings, James M. Watterson of Cambridge City, Sandra K. (Ray) Ousley of Princeton, Joyce A. Judd of Warsaw, Rita J. Stout of Indianapolis, and Rebecca (John) Otte of Brownsburg, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Charles will be laid to rest next to his parents at Rosston Cemetery in Boone County, Indiana.
