Mr. Charles Robert “Bobby” Stewart, 70, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born January 30, 1952, in Linton, Indiana, a son of the late Buena “Beanie” Willis Stewart and Florence Mildred (Miller) Stewart.
He attended Lebanon High School. On September 29,1973 he was married to Joanne Elizabeth (Mott) Stewart in Lebanon, Indiana; she survives.
Bob worked many years as a pipefitter with Union Local #440 in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW and Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Bob was hardworking and fun-loving. He could be found riding his Gold Wing as much as possible and felt his best when he was surrounded by family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Stewart of Lebanon; children, Stacy A. (Sean) Horan of Zionsville, Rob E. (Shannon) Stewart of Lebanon; grandchildren, Gage Horan, Darbi Horan and Emma Brown; brother, John R. (Dale) Stewart of Lebanon; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Janice L. Williams and a brother, Ronnie Stewart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
