The Indiana Department of Transportation announces chip seal operations on State Road 26 and U.S. 52, going through Warren, Benton, and Tippecanoe Counties.
Beginning on or after Tuesday, June 11, crews will be chip-sealing S.R. 26 from the Indiana/Illinois State line to the U.S. 41 junction in Warren County. This project will cover nearly 16 lane miles. Once this work is completed, the following areas in Benton and Tippecanoe Counties will be chip-sealed:
- U.S. 52 from S.R. 352 in Benton County to the U.S. 231 junction in Tippecanoe County, covering just over 41 lane miles.
- U.S. 52 from the U.S. 231 junction to Old U.S. 52 in Tippecanoe County covering 14 lane miles.
Crews will place message boards at each end of the project to alert the traveling public.
