Lebanon has been without a parking officer since February. Getting a new one was on the to do list of Police Chief Chad Morgan when he was appointed. “We interviewed him probably two months ago,” Morgan said of Chuck Hickson who started earlier this week as the parking enforcement officer. “When I came in here, that was just one of the things to be done.” Hickson who spent 37 years as a mail carrier and then a corrections officer at the jail will be responsible primarily for the downtown area parking.
