The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that Greg Clapp, AVP/Trust Investment Officer, of The Farmers Bank, has achieved the professional designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®).
Clapp attended the College for Financial Planning and successfully completed the AAMS® Professional Education Program which is recognized as an industry benchmark for asset management credentials and is endorsed by the top financial firms. Those who complete the program pass a final exam and sign a code of ethics and disclosure form to earn the AAMS® designation. Study topics are broad and include investment strategies, insurance, taxation, retirement and estate planning issues. This advanced training offers investment professionals the hands-on information needed to provide comprehensive financial services. To maintain the AAMS® designation one must complete 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
