On April 17th, at approximately 8:39 PM, Deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 7000-block of W State Rd 28 Frankfort, IN for a single vehicle crash.Once on scene, Deputies located a Silver 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis in the construction zone, with heavy front end damage.
The vehicle was occupied by a female driver, identified as Angel Kindle, 41, of Frankfort. The preliminary investigation shows the vehicle left the traveled portion of the roadway and entered the construction zone, for an unknown reason. The vehicle continued through the construction zone, where it went airborne and entered into a section of roadway that had been excavated approximately 4 feet deep. The vehicle then struck the edge of the excavated area of the roadway where it came to rest.
Angel was pronounced deceased on scene. This investigation is ongoing.
