For many years, Royal Cleaners in Lebanon has been striving to donate coats to children and adults in need through donations from people in the community during a 17-day drive.
Neil Hollingsworth has been working at Royal Cleaners for the last 22 years and says the coat drive tradition has continued each of those years, but added that he predated his tenure.
Royal Cleaners takes the coats that are received during the 17-day donation time, cleans them up and inspects them so that they are nearly as good as new. They even take the time to dry clean coats that require it. All of the cleaning and inspecting is done at no charge. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
