Boone REMC announced that CoBank has granted an additional $10,000 to be shared by the Boone County Community Foundation in support of local COVID-19 relief efforts. Operation Round Up initially funded $6,000 toward Boone County Boys and Girls Club Emergency Food Program. Boone REMC gave $4,000 to Boone County Community Foundation toward COVID-19 relief efforts. CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States have awarded a matching donation through its Sharing Success program. Boone REMC will be presenting a check for a grand total of $20,000.
