Boone County’s Youth and Family Health Network received a $50,000 grant to form an overdose Quick Response Team, which will follow up within 72 hours with an overdose victim. The team will perform a wellness check and refer the victim to treatment or community resources.
The non-profit will hold a public education event to explain the QRT program at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Anson Complex in Whitestown, Michelle Standeford, executive director of the Youth and Family Health Network, said. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
