Mr. David Blake Kettrey, 68, passed away early Sunday morning, May 30, 2021, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on January 30, 1953, a son of the late Marilyn J. (Dean) Haughton.
Raised in Boone County, David was a 1970 graduate of Lebanon High School.
On April 29, 1977, he was married to Beverly (Teboe) Kettrey in Lebanon; she survives.
David worked as a welder for Phillips Industries in Lebanon for many years.
He was a devoted husband, stepfather, and grandfather. David had many interests throughout his life. He enjoyed talking with friends all over the world as an Amateur Radio Operator. He also had a talent for restoring old photos, he loved to play chess, and was a wonder artist.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Kettrey of Lebanon; stepfather, Charles D. Haughton of Lebanon; stepdaughter, Brandy Davis of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Carly Cripe of Indianapolis, Liam Cripe and Isabella Davis of South Caroline; brothers, Stephen Kettrey, John Bradley (Sharon) Reese of North Carolina, and Phillip Haughton of Lebanon.
In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Charles Andrew Reese.
No Funeral Services will be held. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
