David Carter Duff, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon on August 4, 1944, a son of the late Rev. Raymond Duff and Geneva (Carter) Duff.

David was a 1963 graduate of Pinnell High School.

He married Linda Minor who passed away in 1981. David and Wilma Jean Jones were married on February 14, 1982. She survives.

David attended Lebanon Christian Church. He belonged to the Optimist Club, Union Local #135, and Boone County 4-H. He was a truck driver for several years and retired from Witham Memorial Hospital. David went on to work at Howard’s Lawn and Garden for over 20 years.

He enjoyed farming, mowing not only his yard, but his neighbor’s yard and tinkering.

David is survived by three sons, Todd D. Duff of Lebanon, Robert P. (Connie) Flood of Terre Haute, and Stephen D. (Amy) Flood of Indianapolis; daughter, Alicia K. Duff of Lebanon; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, John H. (Janet) Duff of Greenwood, and Thomas K. (Kathi) Duff of Brownsburg; and a sister Patricia (Robert) Gulley of Fillmore.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two sisters: Jeananne Stevenson and Suzanne Vansickle.

Funeral Services are planned for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Myers Mortuary. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
