Deanna Jean “Dee” Tremblay, 79, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born July 3, 1943, in Valparaiso, Indiana, a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Florence Evelyn (Carlson) Boy.

Raised in Northern Indiana, she was a 1961 graduate of Chesterton High School. She graduated in 1964 from Gary Methodist Hospital Nurses Training.

On December 9, 1967, she was married to Joseph Hector Tremblay in Porter, Indiana. He passed away on December 19, 2003.

Dee was a registered nurse for 25 years. Following her nursing career she worked as an office manager for Chimney Sweeps of America, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Porter United Methodist and later a member of Centenary United Methodist Church She was a quilt addict (having made over 70 hand-pieced, unique quilts) and she also loved to needlepoint. Dee was also very active in the Indianapolis Quilt Guild along with other quilting clubs and a ten-year member of weight watchers. She had a loving soul and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Diana L. Tremblay of Lebanon and Robert J. (Andrea) Tremblay of Madison, Alabama; four grandchildren, Leslie Griffith, Holly (Jesse) Phipps, Amber Tremblay, and Dillon Tremblay;
two great grandchildren, Hunter Ping and Mercie Phipps; sister, Linda Susan Medley of Lebanon; brother, Daniel Lee (Lauri) Boy of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dee was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Louise Gaffin; and brothers, Ralph Leonard Boy and David Laurence Boy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. noon at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Interment will follow services at Hutton Cemetery in Boone County.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
