Debbie (Debra) Lou Reger, 69 years old, passed away peacefully October 14, 2023.

Born in Lebanon, IN, she was the daughter of Dale and Jessie Reger, who had preceded her in death. Debbie was the first of 5 siblings, Tina (Greg Hill), Lebanon, IN; George (Karen companion), Lebanon IN, Carla (Jerry Revell), Lebanon, IN, and Annette (Herbert Mueller), Greensboro NC. She had 7 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.

Debbie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1973.  She then went onto work at the Holiday Inn for 10 years, where she met many good friends that continued during her life. She was a lifetime member of the St Joseph Catholic Church. Debbie was a 4-H 10-year member and continued to tell the story of her champion nut bread in 1968 over the years. She had continued to participate in the open show, winning a grand champion on her drawings this year.  She looked forward to the fair each year.

Debbie was an incredible artist, her ability to capture the details and depth was breathtaking.  Debbie enjoyed going to church, Sunday football, latch hook, riding around in the car, Long John Slivers, and her cousins. Her daily routine included her favorites, The Price is Right and Family Feud. She especially loved the “little ones” (great nieces and nephews), and all the joy they brought to her with laughter, playing “old maid”, and sharing their art with her.

Debbie led a life of bravery and will be greatly missed by all of us.  A special thank you to Crownpointe staff and residents, Emily at Hospice, the members at St. Joseph, and Max’s Cubbard, during these past years

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crownpointe, or Sugarcreek Art Center.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, October 18, for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Lebanon. Debbie will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon immediately following.
