Debra Harrier, age 65, died on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana with her loving daughter by her side.

Debra was a very social person and dedicated her livelihood to building relationships. Over the years she held positions at Jocko’s (formerly Pizza Inn) in Danville, Illinois, PNC Bank, and the Daily Sun. She retired from RCI in Carmel, Indiana in 2018.

Debra Ann Harrier was born to James and Norma (Hildebaugh) Baker on July 19, 1955. The third of five siblings, she was born in Joliet and raised in Manhattan, Illinois.

Debra had eclectic taste. She loved painting and creating and enjoyed sharing her creations as gifts to others. Her favorite team was the Indianapolis Colts, and she could often be found cheering them on from the sofa and the stands. She also enjoyed travel and would make her way to the peace of the ocean as often as possible. Her faithful companion of 15 years, Coby the shih tzu, is sure to meet her at the rainbow bridge.

Debra is survived by her children, Ashley (Mia) Harrier of Danville, Illinois, and Kara Ridner of Zionsville, Indiana; 5 grandchildren, Killian, Rune, and Azalea Harrier, and Jade and Nolan Ridner; mother, Norma Baker; siblings, Kenneth (Robin) Baker, James III (Mary) Baker, Nancy (John) Long, and Karen Baker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
