Delores “Dee” Shepherd, 89, passed away Saturday morning, September 7, 2019, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born May 21, 1930, in Jamestown, Indiana, a daughter of the late Calvin and Ruth A. (Mason) Henry.

Raised in Boone County, Dee was a graduate of Jamestown High School.

On September 11, 1949, she was married to Charles Marley Shepherd in Jamestown. He passed away on May 25, 1988.

As a wife of an Air Force Sergeant, she lived many places including Mississippi, Alaska, Washington, Kansas, California, Japan, Nebraska and finally back home to Lebanon, Indiana.

Dee was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved her family and friends dearly. She was a devoted homemaker for her family and a faithful member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed RV camping, music, and playing cards, especially Bridge.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Dee was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Shepherd; three brothers, Robert Henry, John Henry, and Calvin Henry, Jr.; and a sister, Dorothy Walker.

Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana with Rev. Donna Ward officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in Lebanon.

Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
