Denny Eugene Osborne, 74, passed away Sunday morning, November 24, 2019, at his home in Thorntown. He was born in Hendricks County on September 28, 1945, a son of the late Nic and Wanda (Brown) Osborne. He was raised in the Pittsboro and Lizton areas with his parents and five siblings.
He moved to Thorntown where he married Janet Ann (Fairfield) Osborne on February 28, 1976. She preceded him in death on August 17, 2018.
Denny started his own furniture making and repair shop in Thorntown. He loved wood-working and being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. Turkey hunting was among one of his favorites.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Denny was preceded in death by a son, Roy Jamerson; step-son, Farrel Strong; grandson, Sammy Sutton; sister, Bonnie Fletcher; and brothers, Ronnie Osborne and Edward “Ed” Osborne.
Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Myers and Hunt Mortuary, 116 West Pearl Street, in Thorntown, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home in Thorntown.
Interment will follow services at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
