Boone Meadow Elementary School, located at 5555 S. Main St. Whitestown evacuated students and staff this morning when a “suspicious beeping object,” was found in a trash can at the front of the school. A spokesperson with the sheriff’s department reported the object turned out to be a diabetic meter. School was canceled for the day.
