God has called Dylan home to be one of his angels. Dylan Alexander Randel, 14, of Thorntown, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2021 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born on February 21, 2007 in Indianapolis, the son of Natasha “Tasha” Lynn Randel.
Dylan was in the 8th grade at Western Boone Jr. Sr. High School. He was fun-loving and had the biggest heart. He enjoyed the simple things in life, baseball, Jiu-Jitsu, swimming, and breakfast with Papa. Dylan loved to help his family, whether on the Randel farm or at The Farmer’s Table restaurant in Thorntown.
Dylan leaves behind his mother, Tasha Randel of Thorntown; siblings, Matthew K. Randel, Darrellynn J. Randel and Aiden R. Randel all of Thorntown; grandparents, Jeff R. and Sherri Randel of Thorntown; great grandparents, Ken and Patricia Gray of Thorntown; aunts and uncles, Nicole (Dwayne) Hand of Lebanon, Amy Spencer & companion, Tim Snell of Colfax, and Josh (Miriam) Randel of Lafayette; great aunts and uncles, Tim (Shawna) Williams of Thorntown, John (Johna) Drew of Frankfort, and Jason (Amanda) Randel of Roann; along with many cousins who loved him dearly.
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Darrell “Pappy” Newhouse, and grandmothers, Hannah Randel and Jackie “Gigi” Randel.
Funeral Services are planned for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Dylan will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
