Road work along East Street should be complete by mid-May, which is in keeping with the city’s original contract, Lebanon City Engineer Kevin Krulik said Friday. The city had hoped to finish work ahead of schedule in 2017, “but the weather closed in on us,” Krulik said. It got too cold for asphalt to be laid in December, and some portions of East Street remained as gravel over the winter, although the contractor graded and maintained them.
