Edith Soto, 23, passed away Tuesday morning, February 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 3, 1997 in Indianapolis and became the daughter of Linda Gayle Thorpe-Stanger and the late Larry Gene Thorpe. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lebanon.

Stanger of Jamestown; Thirty-One Siblings: William Michael (Pam) Thorpe, Casey (Shannon Carter) Thorpe, Larry Thorpe, Jr., Eddie Thorpe – Jamestown, Randy Thorpe Jamestown, John Thorpe, Christopher Thorpe, Christopher McMillian, Chris Manyak, William Levi Thorpe, Topeka Thorpe, Brandy (Brad) Schroeder, Felicia (Verdale Brown) Thorpe, Angie Thorpe, Mary Thorpe, Ashley Nicole Thorpe, Sarah Jo Thorpe, Debbie (Curtis Roberts) Thorpe, Amanda Thorpe, Chelsey Thorpe, Hannah Thorpe, Brianne Thorpe, Breona Denay Thorpe, Sarah Renee Thorpe, Ashley Elizabeth Thorpe, Laura Shimie Thorpe, Joseph Arman Thorpe, Ben Hecht, Bisrat Stanger, Blessing Stanger, Emily Thorpe–Stanger. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Thorpe Sr.; and seven siblings, Christina M. Thorpe, T. J. Young, Timothy Blades, Jacqueline N. Thorpe, Jasmine N. Thorpe, and Robert D. Becker, and Aaron Thorpe.
Funeral Services are planned for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Visitors are asked to follow CDC guidelines, please wear a mask and social distance.
Interment will follow services at the Old Union Cemetery rural Jamestown, Indiana.
