Lebanon Mayor Matthew Gentry beat opponent Kevin Van Horn for the Republican nomination in Tuesday’s primary election. Gentry, earned 59.98% of the vote. And in Zionsville, retired news anchor John Stehr earned 55.24% of the vote to earn the Republican nomination for mayor. Business woman Jane Burgess had opposed him after first-term Zionsville Mayor Emily Styron, the town’s first Democrat mayor, decided not to seek re-election. In Frankfort, incumbent Judy Sheets won in her bid to continue as Mayor of the City of Frankfort in Tuesday’s Primary Election.
