Emily A. Dickerson, 27, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023. She was born January 25, 1996, in Indianapolis, a daughter of Steven and Shirley Ann (Scott) Dickerson.
Emily attended Lebanon High School. She went on to work at Fogo de Chao and at The Melting Pot. She was currently employed at Promo Sports, which she loved. Emily was a very hard worker and always put everything she could into her work.
She loved spending time with her children and family. Emily was the youngest of four siblings. She was always on the go and worked hard to create memories with her family. She was always the person to go to when you needed a good laugh. Emily was always way too loud and talked way to fast but cared deeply for those around her.
Emily enjoyed gardening and took great pride in the care of her plants. She also enjoyed collecting antique glassware and furniture.
Survivors include her father, Steve (Wanda) Dickerson; two children, Annabelle Rose, and Chloe Elizabeth; the children’s father, Justin Witmer; siblings, Amy Jo Smith, Scott (Michelle) Dickerson, and Adam (Lindsey) Dickerson; many nieces and nephews; and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Dickerson; grandparents, Wallace and Beulah Janice Scott and Virgil and Eileen Dickerson; and her lifelong feline companion, Kitty Boy.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
