The largest family-owned recycling and trash service in Indianapolis is being sold. Waste Management, a national company, has now acquired Ray’s Trash Service. Ray’s has served 17 counties in central Indiana since being founded in 1965. WM says they are committed to providing quality recycling and waste disposal services. The city of Lebanon is currently served by Rays Trash Service. Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry posted a staement to Facebook that read in part, “We fully expect our 5 year contract with Ray’s to be upheld by Waste Management with no changes in rates for our citizens. Residents should see no disruption in service. We will be sure to communicate any additional information that we receive from either Ray’s or Waste Management.”
